Lerab Ling Temple Visits

2013_lerabling_visit

Located one hour from Montpellier, on the Escandorgue plateau, in a superb natural environment, Lerab Ling houses a magnificent Buddhist temple that is open to visitors from March to October. The temple is inspired, in all its aspects, by the best examples of architecture from Tibetan Buddhist monasteries of the Himalayas. A very beautiful statue of the Buddha, 7 meters high, can be admired there. The temple was inaugurated by the Dalai Lama in 2008.

Location
1 hour from Montpellier (Hérault, south of France), 40 minutes from
Millau (Aveyron) and 15 minutes from Lodève, Le Caylar or Ceilhes.
