Temple Esplanade Visits

A breath of fresh air in a unique environment.

With the arrival of the warm weather, Lerab Ling opens its gardens and the temple esplanade to visitors who wish to spend some quality time outdoors while discovering this exotic landmark. During these visits, the interior of the temple is not accessible.

The visits are possible from Tuesday to Saturday, from 1.30 to 4.30 pm. To ensure that everyone can enjoy the site safely, the maximum number of people allowed in at a time is limited to 80.

Schedule of visits to the esplanade (no need to book):

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays - Visit the gardens and esplanade only (the temple is not accessible; free)
  • Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays - Visits to the gardens and esplanade with access to the temple if there is no event in progress (suggested donation of 5€)

Please note: For Whit Monday, exceptionally we will open on Monday 24 May to visit the temple esplanade and its gardens; access to the temple will also be possible.

In order to respect the current sanitary regulations, we ask you to:

  • Wear a mask on site
  • Keep a minimum distance of 1m with mask and 2m without a mask from each other (except families)
