WILLS & LEGACIES

Perhaps the greatest legacy we can leave to the world is the gift of wisdom. The timeless wisdom of the Buddha’s teaching is as relevant now as it was 2,500 years ago. Today, these ancient teachings are bringing benefit to countless people all over the world, and are held in the highest regard by scientists, philosophers, spiritual leaders and thinkers alike.

Rigpa has been at the forefront of bringing the ancient wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism to the modern world. One of the most lasting and significant ways you can support Rigpa's work and vision is to include the Rigpa Endowment Fund in your will. This fund will help to ensure that Rigpa’s work will continue to benefit people long into the future.

As an expression of our deep appreciation, a tree will be planted on the sacred grounds of Lerab Ling to dedicate your gift. The Buddha attained enlightenment under a Bodhi Tree in India over two thousand five hundred years ago.

Since that time the tree has come to symbolize not only Buddha’s supreme spiritual realization but also his granting of refuge and protection from suffering. It is in this spirit that we will plant the tree at Lerab Ling in your name.

You can find more information on leaving Rigpa in your will, as well as how to make a will, on our Tertön Sogyal websites.
