Overview:
Lerab Ling is a Buddhist retreat centre located in the south of France, at an
altitude of 800 metres, near the village of Roqueredonde (Hérault). Throughout
the year, Lerab Ling offers a rich and varied programme of Buddhist retreats
and public events, welcoming between 200 and 400 participants per event
during the summer season. Some retreats host up to 800 people.
In addition, Lerab Ling has a resident community of around 60 people,
including about ten members of the monastic community.
The registration team, made up of three people, handles all stay requests at
Lerab Ling, whether for events or retreats.
The site offers five types of accommodation, with a total capacity of 200 beds.
Working within this team means taking part in welcoming and managing an
international clientele throughout the year, in an event-based setting shaped by
the Buddhist character of this retreat centre.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome participants, organise their transport and arrival, take their needs
into account, and provide appropriate solutions. - Manage reservations using the Bookinglayer software.
- Manage event scheduling using the Bookinglayer software.
- Respond to emails and phone calls.
- Organise the cleaning of accommodation facilities.
- Liaise with Lerab Ling teams (accounting, site operations, programme,
kitchen, laundry, etc.).
Team members may be required to work on Saturdays and some Sundays,
depending on the event schedule.

- Ability to maintain high-quality work under pressure
- Previous experience in the hospitality sector preferred
- Good command of IT tools
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to variable working hours
- Versatility, availability, and adaptability
- French and English required (spoken and written)
- Membership in the Rigpa Sangha would be an asset and could offer the
possibility of residing at Lerab Ling
