Guided Visits for Groups

Wednesday to Saturday, by reservation only

If you are you an association, a travel agency, a works council, a school or a
holiday centre looking to organise an outing for your group…


How it works

  • You will be welcomed by a guide who will show you around the site and take you on a visit of the temple.
  • They will talk to you about the architecture, symbolism, decorations and activities of the site and show you a film about the history and purpose of Lerab Ling, its temple and the Buddha statue.
  • You will have time to ask questions and, on request, you can experience a guided meditation session.
  • Duration of the group tour: 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Recommended time on site: 2.5 hours, to visit the temple and enjoy the atmosphere of the place at your own pace.
  • Times: Visits depart at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m.
  • Languages: French, English, German, Spanish and Dutch.

On-site mobility

A shuttle service is available to take group visitors up and down between the car
park and the temple esplanade.

This is recommended for seniors who have difficulty walking, people in poor health
or those with reduced mobility.

Private cars must remain in the car park, unless special permission has been
granted.
Parking reserved for coaches.

Booking is essential. The date and time of your visit will be arranged after
consultation with the team at Lerab Ling temple.
From May to September, depending on weather conditions, you can enjoy the
beautiful setting of the Windhorse Shop and Café, where you can have a hot or cold
drink, ice cream and snacks, and do some shopping.
