The studios, with their spacious rooms and views of the temple, lake and valley, are the best accommodation at Lerab Ling. They are located close to the temple and the food court. All studios have their own bathroom, a kitchenette with a fridge and tea-making facilities, and storage space. The kitchen area does not allow for the cooking of meals. The studios are available all year round and are well heated with individually adjustable central heating.

The studios can be rented individually or in shared accommodation, and Lerab Ling can provide extra beds and bedding on request.

Lerab Ling provides bed linens, towels, and an extra blanket if required. All studios have a private entrance that can be locked. The key will be given to you on arrival.

The retreat rooms are located in a complex of two interconnected buildings with comfortable rooms, close to the temple and the food court. The rooms are available all year round and are well heated with individually adjustable central heating.

Showers and toilets are located in the building, and there is a small washbasin in your room, as well as a storage cupboard. Most of the rooms have two beds and can be rented individually or as a shared room. There is one room with wheelchair access. Almost half of the rooms have a view of the temple.

Lerab Ling provides bed linens, towels, and an extra blanket if needed. The retreat room buildings are open access but each room can be locked and a key will be given to you on arrival.

If your budget does not allow for a more expensive room, a wooden cabin is the ideal solution for any retreat. The cabins are located on the top of the west hill. It is true that you have to climb the hill, but most people enjoy the opportunity to get some exercise.

The cabins are well insulated and have electric heaters and sockets.

Showers and toilets are just a few steps away from the cabins, in sanitary blocks. The cabins are available all year round. Cabins can be booked individually or in shared accommodation.

Lerab Ling provides mattresses, pillows, duvets, bed linens and towels, and an extra blanket if needed. The cabin can be locked and the key will be given to you on arrival.

Throughout the year we have a number of spaces reserved for those who bring a caravan or motorhome. Lerab Ling provides an electrical connection to each spot. As with all accommodation at Lerab Ling, the full board rate applies.

Please be aware that staying overnight in your vehicle in the public car park is not permitted and that the local police may fine you. The nearest campsites are at Le Caylar, Saint Félix and Ceilhes.

The camping area for personal tents is in the forest just below the temple. Most of the spots are well shaded and very close to the temple and the food court, a little further up the hill. Adjacent to this are the sanitary facilities, with showers, toilets and laundry facilities. This is an ideal option for those on a tight budget. You will need to bring your own tent, mattress, sleeping bag and towels.

Although the campsite is officially closed during the winter months, we do make exceptions for those hardy enough to withstand the harsh temperatures. Showers and toilets are available all year round.

Summers at Lerab Ling can be very cool, windy and/or rainy on certain days. Be prepared for this by bringing warm clothes and something to face the rain at any time of year. You will need a torch! Before arriving at Lerab Ling, check that your tent is waterproof and windproof.

For safety reasons, all tents must be pitched in defined areas. When you arrive, ask the Lerab Ling reception team to see which spot you have been allocated.
