The collective catering kitchen assistant will take part in preparing vegetarian or vegan meals in a kitchen serving 80 covers in low season (lunch) and around 400 covers per service in high season (lunch and dinner), under the responsibility of the Head Chef.
JOB DESCRIPTION
La Source is a collective catering company providing meals for people attending events at the spiritual and cultural centre of Lérab Ling. Its activity is strongly seasonal, with between 200 and 400 covers per service at lunch and dinner in high season, but also occasionally in low season, as many people come for personal meditation retreats and/or courses. The centre also has a resident community of around 70 people.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work across different activities: kitchen production, vegetable prep, preliminary preparations, assisting with plating and service, helping prepare starters and hot dishes, washing and peeling vegetables, maintaining workstations, dishwashing, and cleaning the premises.
- Manage the receiving of goods and temperature checks, and apply current hygiene and safety rules.
- Meet the expectations of a demanding clientele.
- As schedules are adapted according to the number of covers, you agree to work morning and evening shifts, regularly on weekends.
