Come and discover a wisdom that is beneficial to your everyday life, that of the teachings of Buddha and meditation. These days are an invitation to take a break and get in touch with yourself. In the morning, you will discover the basics of this wisdom and meditation, and in the afternoon you will have a guided tour of the Lerab Ling temple.
FAMILY DISCOVERY DAYS
Join us to explore new ways of communicating consciously and with kindness as a family, drawing inspiration from this remarkable spiritual culture. These days offer group meditation sessions suitable for all ages, as well as creative activities for children and teenagers who wish to participate, while parents engage in discussions. A visit to the temple for everyone takes place in the afternoon.
VISIT TO THE TEMPLE OF TARA, A FEMININE BUDDHA
This is a rare opportunity, especially for those familiar with Lerab Ling, to discover the small Tara temple located on the first floor. Come and learn about the history of Tara, a female manifestation of enlightenment, who acts out of compassion to protect all beings as if they were her own children. Find out more.
VISIT TO THE TEMPLE OF THE LOTUS-BORN, PADMASAMBHAVA
This is a unique opportunity to discover the temple located on the first floor, rarely open to the public, which is dedicated to the master Padmasambhava. According to ancient records, he was born on a lotus flower in the middle of a lake. He brought Buddhist teachings to Tibet in the 8th century and is considered by Tibetans to be the second Buddha. TASHI DELEK! MEDITATE FOR PEACE!
To kick off the summer, immerse yourself in the meditative atmosphere of Tibetan culture. Enjoy a delicious Tibetan lunch, then spend the afternoon of July 6th at your own pace: come and meditate with Lama Yonten, a Tibetan refugee monk who lives at Lerab Ling, simply sit in the temple or walk around the esplanade to relax and contemplate. The Windhorse Café offers gourmet snacks and summer drinks. Settle in to enjoy the breathtaking view and soak up the inspiring atmosphere.
