Rigpé Yeshé Programme for children in the mornings 

Dates: 11-14 July 2026

This option enables families to attend the Ngöndro Retreat over the long weekend of 11–14 July. 

The Rigpé Yeshé Association is offering a programme designed to welcome children aged 6–12 in the mornings while their parents participate in the Ngöndro Retreat this summer.

Rigpé Yeshé is inspired by the universal and ethical values of the Buddhist tradition. The programme includes nature-based games and activities, as well as expressive and creative activities. One session per day is specifically devoted to developing mindfulness and awareness and exploring our inner resources to learn how to manage our emotions, develop self-confidence and connect with others.

Parents (or grandparents) can attend the ngöndro retreat teachings and practice sessions in the morning, while their children (or grandchildren) are taken care of by the Rigpé Yeshé program. 

In the afternoon, families can spend time together enjoying the atmosphere and natural beauty of Lérab Ling in summer, exploring activities around Lérab Ling, or joining the afternoon practice with their children.

The Rigpé Yeshé Association is an association under the French public law of 1901, founded in 2005 by parents and educators. For the last 20 years, Rigpé Yeshé has organized programmes for children and teenagers at Lerab Ling. We work with qualified and experienced teams of holders.  Because parents are present at the same site as the children during our programmes, Rigpé Yeshé follows the same regulations for welcoming minors, as those for campsites and holiday centers.

>IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING

• The programme for children is so far only offered in French but if you wish to request a language other than French, please contact us at registration.rigpeyeshe@rigpa.org

• This page allows you to register as parents and children for the 11-14 July programme. 

• If parents wish to follow the rest of the Ngöndro Retreat online when they get back home, please register on the main Summer Ngöndro Retreat page [link to Ngondro Retreat page].

• There is a discount coupon for a second child (which gives 15% off to both children). See step 7 below. 

• Study and Practice grants are available for both parents and children. Please note: the grant request for the Rigpé Yeshé programme is to be made in the name of your child, not in the parents name.

>GUIDANCE TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD 

1. First, start by registering yourself to the Ngöndro Retreat
2. Then register your child.
3. On the first page of the registration form, if you are registering more than one child, click on the “+” at the top left to add a participant.
4. On the first page of the registration form, the system asks for an e-mail per child. Enter any e-mail (yours or a false e-mail). No information will be sent to this email. If you are registering two children, you will need to enter two different emails.
5. On the “Payment” page, enter your own e-mail address to receive confirmation of your registration and other information.
6. Please note! In the “Comment” box on the “Payment” page, indicate which event you (the parent) are registered for, so that your child(ren) are put in the same accommodation as you.
   In addition, if one of your children is under 5 years of age and is accompanying you but is not registered for Rigpé Yeshé, please indicate this in the comment box so that they can be added to your accommodation.
7. If you register two children at Rigpé Yeshé, indicate the discount code RY2KIDS in the “Coupon” box and you will benefit from a reduction of 15% on the events fees for your two children.
8. Important: Please do not pay for your booking straight away. Discounts may apply for accommodation and meals depending on the age of your child. For this, please be sure to leave a note in the booking specifying your child’s name and age. The registration team will check the applicable rate and then email you a link for payment. You will then have 48 hours to pay to finalise and confirm your booking.
9. Finally, watch out for the email you will receive to confirm your payment as this email will ask you for several documents that are essential for any organisation welcoming children (medical liaison form, authorisation…)
