One month Nyenpa of Yang Nying Pudri
Group retreat in the Nirmanakaya shrine room
Dates: from 26 October to 30 November 2025, onsite only
The Lerab Ling Sangha Practice retreat team will hold a one month Nyenpa retreat on the Yidam practice of Yang Nying Pudri in the sacred space of the Nirmanakaya shrine room, home to Sogyal Rinpoche’s Inner Stupa.
Yang Nying Pudri, the Razor of the Innermost Essence, is a cycle of Vajrakilaya practices revealed as a terma by Tertön Sogyal . It is the main yidam practice of the Rigpa sangha.
WHO CAN JOIN
This retreat is for students who have already fully completed their Nyenpa of Lama Rigdzin Düpa.
Before the retreat, you will also need to have:
- received a Yang Nying Pudri empowerment, and
- studied the teachings of Yang Nying Pudri or plan to study them before the Nyenpa.
HOW THE RETREAT WILL UNFOLD
The retreat will be in complete silence and will include 4 sessions a day – 2 group sessions in the temple and 2 individual sessions in one’s own accommodation.
In the few days prior to the retreat we will work together to set up the environment for the retreat, and will do a recap of the main points of the instructions we have received from our masters and a short training in the different aspects of holding the practice. At the end of the retreat we will dissolve everything together.

For those interested in doing a full Nyenpa in a group, Dzogchen Beara offers this opportunity annually and has the ideal circumstances for such a retreat. More information here.
