Amalée Rycroft was raised by Buddhist parents and throughout her life gradually discovered the joys and transformations of studying and practicing the Buddha’s teachings. She studied at the Rigpa Shedra East in Pharping, Nepal under the guidance of Khenchen Namdrol in 2016, 2020, 2021, and 2026. Over the years, she has been involved in various Rigpa activities, as a French translator, with the children and teenagers’ programme, and during retreats for young adults. Amalée is also a secondary school teacher.
