Maxime de Simone started to follow to the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in 1983 and has since attended retreats organised by Rigpa, as well as the three-year home retreat programme. He welcomed people interested in Buddhism at the Rigpa centre in Montpellier from 1995 to 2006. He is now part of the group of teachers who guide participants on meditation retreats in discovering this practice.
