Practices and Ceremonies for Sogyal Rinpoche’s Parinirvana

Rigpa and Lerab Ling would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped sponsor the 49-day practices, and beyond, following Sogyal Rinpoche’s passing away.

We will be completing the 49th day soon—the focus will then shift to ceremonies that are taking place in India, which include a Vajrasattva drupchen in Bodhgaya, presided over by Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche, and with over 50 tulkus, khenpos, lamas and monks from the Shechen and Chokling monasteries participating, as well as practices at Chorten Gompa in Sikkim, culminating in the dungshyu (cremation ceremony) at Tashiding (West Sikkim).

Should you wish to contribute further towards these practices and ceremonies, since they are being organized privately, we would direct you to the following link where your support will be gratefully received here.

Alternatively, you may send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for further details on how to support. All donations will be allocated towards the monasteries, lamas and monks who are conducting the ceremonies, as well as towards offerings of lights, flowers and tsok, up until the dungshyu.

Thank you so much for your generosity.
